How to start watching in your headset

QUEST • VISION PRO • PICO 4

YouTube: from a link to a surrounding video.

1. Find YouTube VR in your headset’s official app store. Google lists Quest 2, Quest Pro, Quest 3, PICO 4 and Apple Vision Pro; check the store for your exact model.
2. Open the app and search the exact title: “360 Google Spotlight Stories: Pearl” or “Elephant Encounter in 360”.
3. On Quest, if you are in panel mode, choose “Watch in Immersive”.
4. Play the original 360° upload. Look around and adjust quality using the player controls. A regular rectangular upload stays flat.

META QUEST

The Soloist VR.

1. Open the producer’s website and choose its Quest / Oculus TV viewing link.
2. If your phone or computer opens the listing, continue through the provider’s supported headset route. You may need to find the exact title inside Quest TV.
3. Check that the title is available for your headset and country. The producer lists a 3D 360° documentary; the behind-the-scenes Red Bull series is a different version.

We could verify the producer’s listing, but not headset playback. If the old Oculus link fails, use the producer page rather than an unofficial reupload.

APPLE VISION PRO

Disney+ films with 3D depth.

1. Install the visionOS version of Disney+ from your device’s store.
2. Sign in to an eligible Disney+ subscription.
3. Find a title that offers 3D in your country and select that version.
4. Choose a cinema environment if you like. The environment surrounds the screen; it does not turn the film into 360° video.

APPLE VISION PRO

Apple Immersive concert films.

Open the Apple TV app on Vision Pro and search “Metallica”. Check the immersive version and current access conditions in your region. The artist’s official announcement identifies the three-performance concert as free; it is different from an ordinary music video or audio release.

Before planning around a sporting event.

Check the provider’s immersive schedule, your country, any broadcast blackouts and the required app or subscription. Do not assume every match on a service has an immersive feed. For Lakers Apple Immersive viewing, consult the Spectrum SportsNet / NBA route and its US restrictions.
